Friday Confessions

I only have a few and then I will walk away with what little dignity I have left.

1. On my way home from the airport I stopped at Sprinkles. I bought 4 cupcakes. I ate 3 of them. In one day.
(FYI: 1 red velvet cupcake has 497 calories, thanks google)

2. This is hanging in my laundry room.

3. Words are not necessary.

If you have anything to share that will make me feel better about myself please share. Happy weekend everyone!

  2. I am in SHOCK! Just kidding! But I am laughing at your confessions! Mine aren't that exciting this week:

    1. I am really wishing I were coming to watch Eclipse with you tonight, even though (and I have avoided telling you this all week to post it here) my friend Sharlyn is coming over at 11:30 today to watch it for the first time (She just got into Twilight this week and is having me check costco for how much their books and movies cost while i'm there this morning). The real confession: I have no issue with watching these movies more than once in a day - and have definitely done this in the past.

    2. I tried to start our laundry last weekend but I couldn't follow through until yesterday because of how much I worked this week. When I went to fold the pile of whites I left on our bedroom floor, I had to throw them back in the wash because I found a HUGE spider in the midst of the pile and almost threw up thinking about spider eggs in our clothes.

    3. Jake and I have almost finished the Pumpkin Spice coffee from TJ's :( . I'm very sad that this luxury of mine is about to end.

    4. I am so tired of doing "Journals" and health related news article reviews for school. I have had enough of all the busy work, just let me graduate already! (even though the thought of being done is a little scary)

    5. I'm EXTREMELY jealous of your poster and want one of my own, but I lack a place to put it that would not force Jake to also look at it on a very regular basis. I need a garage.

  3. And sorry, I accidentally deleted the post, so I had to post it twice!

  4. I'm laughing at your confessions Lisa, and yours too Sarah - except the part about the spider - YEEKS!! I looked for the pumpkin spice coffee at our TJ's but it was nowhere to be found. I'll catch it next year I guess.

    Confessions:

    1. Halloween candy (need I say more?)

    2. Edward has been taking up an unreasonable amount of space in my brain lately. Its kind of embarassing. And probably unhealthy.

    3. I read Midnight Sun this week. At work. Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (see #2 above).

    4. I haven't even done any laundry in weeks; having a Stay-at-Home Husband is coming in handy. I just leave it all for him. I feel vaguely guilty about this.

    5. I discovered that if i don't spring-up from the dinner table after dinner, that above-noted Stay-at-Home Husband will clean up the dinner dishes. Why didn't I discover this like, oh I don't know, 10 years ago?! Feeling not really vaguely guilty about this.

Look forward to seeing y'all soon.

Bella: Are you going to tell me how you stopped the van?

Edward Cullen: Yeah. Um... I had an adrenaline rush. It's very common. You can Google it.

  5. Hahahaah! I LOVE IT! And I have to agree with your confessions Beth - #2 is also my confession, and THANK YOU for bringing Midnight Sun into my life. Its on my Top 10 Best Things That Ever Happened To Me list, AND I found an article that interviewed Stephenie Meyer that said she might finish it someday. We can only hope

  6. Beth~ don't feel guilty! Do you think that Drake feels guilty that I do all the laundry. No. It's part of the role of being the stay-at-home spouse :-). you work very hard at your job and he and Michael are so blessed to have you.
Looking forward to seeing you tonight. I would say that your #2 stands for all of us. 14 days and counting!!

  7. Here they are.....
    1. I finally got a "new do". I had my hair cut into a bob. Now Jules and I have the same cut. I LOVE IT! Had the old cut waaaaay too long :)
    2. I have never seen or read anything "Twilight" and I'm perfectly fine with that. But you girls ENJOY!!!
    3. Halloween candy needs to go bye-bye! Butterfingers keep luring me!
    4. Worked for 2 1/2 hrs trying to reconnect my wireless printer to my computer and guess what???!!!! it still does not work even though I have a wifi connection and the software is installed in my computer. Sometimes you just have to walk away!#/!!!
    5. Looking forward to the weekend.
    6. So glad they were right about the rain as I purposely did not water my lawn.
    That's it. Nothing too exciting.

  9. This is from Cara Via Email:

Ok. So its my work computer that won't post to the blog. Here are my confessions...maybe someone can post them for me since I only have my work computer with me while when are out of town. :)

Hi Ladies… I am ready to jump in with my confessions. The real question is… are you all ready for me??

    1. I ate a banana and chocolate chip loaf with a mocha from starbucks for breakfast on Monday. I liked it so much I ate the same thing for breakfast Tuesday and Wednesday. Hey, it has bananas!!

    2. I booked an “off site appointment” on my calendar for an hour on Wednesday so I could get my nails done. A girl has to do what a girl has to do.

    3. I set my alarm for 5am Wednesday with every intention of going to my favorite 545am Jazzercise class. Instead I watched Dancing with the Stars on the DVR and ate Halloween candy. It’s the thought that counts, right??

    4. I admitted that I watched Dancing with the Stars. Enough said.

    5. We have a bball tournament all weekend in Anaheim. I packed a bottle of wine in my suitcase. 2 days, 1 husband coaching, 2 boys playing, 10 games, too many hours to count in the gym, all while I am chasing Savannah around the gym. I. DESERVE. WINE.

Peace out ladies. I love you. xoxo

  10. Oh honey I do care that you do laundry and I feel a slight bit guilty...considering I ask you if you'd like me to help you with the laundry...or I threaten that my mom can help which may make you more frustrated. i love you and can't wait to see you tomorrow!
