Hello There!

Hi Friends, it feels like it's been a while. Have you missed me?? (kidding) Maybe it just feels that way because it's already Tuesday night. Our weekend was good and I'll get there, but first I thought I would share a couple of early confessions. Nothing big, both are just mildly amusing and perhaps slightly guilt worthy that I need to get them off my chest.

First, I'm watching The Bachelor right now...enough said. Second, today I was in Nordstrom Rack and Samantha pooped. Knowing I only had a diaper in the car and no wipes, I bought Neutrogena make-up remover wipes and used them on her sweet little tush (clearly this is not my first child). Fingers crossed they don't cause a rash.

Channeling back to the weekend now. It was a good weekend. Despite the majority of us nursing colds we made the most of our time. Venturing out for maple syrup turned into sipping coffee while the kids ran around a fountain. Finding neon food coloring turned into baking a cake just for fun. Uncle Garret turning twenty seven turned into an adult night out. You get the picture, we had a very relaxing balanced weekend.

Before I turn my attention back to The Bachelor I wanted to share a great find. My friend Annie has started her own little business called hair tied. She's selling the most amazing hair ties and 10% of all proceeds go to Operation Smile. They're perfect for working out, running errands or a fun hostess gift. They come in fun colors and patterns and best of all they don't slip. Check out her website here.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and your week is going well so far. We'll talk soon~ Lisa

  1. Really cute photos as always!! Love the one with them all hanging off of Drake. :-) And I need to know if the inside of the cake was as pink as the frosting? that look GOOD! :-) Hair tied - very cool! Thanks for passing on the tip - I like to support mommy businesses. :-)
