Today was a good day. No confessions for you this Friday, but a few snippets for me to savor. Starting with last night and a boy that waited up for his Daddy.

Speaking of rocking it, big sis performed a song with her class today at the assembly and she totally rocked it...
She rocked it in the assembly and we found out later she rocked it in the classroom this semester. Literally a perfect report card. Yes, we are proud parents. Proud parents that felt this merited yet another celebration. Cupcakes and sparkling cider for the stellar student. We "cheersed" and praised over and over.
Drake worked from home today so we were able to squeeze in a breakfast date while the little ones were at school. It's amazing how omelets and 45 minutes of uninterrupted conversation can completely transform my day. I love this man and I love our time together.
I'm excited for the weekend. More celebrations are in store and lots of family time. Drake and I have a couple little surprises for the kids. I'll leave you with this, a snippet of humor for your Friday evening...

How fun! Sam is too cute in that outfit..Jules great job! Trent needs guy time since he's in between those two girls. And that cartoon is dead on for the difference between kids/no kids. But life sure is not boring with kids.
